Questions: Why are you not completing the CA course? Have you completed the articleship? Why the gap of six months? Job-specific questions? Tell something more about major audit work undertaken by you. What according to you is ethical and unethical? Tell us about recent changes in Audit?  What are the recent changes that are taking place in ITR? Difference between a Private bank and a Public Bank? Explain to me step-by-step how will you audit the RBI? I hate financial ratios, it only covers one aspect of entities, can you explain why we use them instead of multiple variables? Try considering a portfolio, why do we only consider risk/return, why not anything else, I find it very illogical? You're a CA, you should know we are referring to the Sharp Ratio?

Candidate Profile:Work ex- 5 years 4 months

Questions: Speak for 2 minutes on the challenges and solutions for work-from-home scenario. What does Durgapur Steet Plant specialize in? How do you validate that software is secure?How do you quantify the metrics to assess the security posture of an application?Why did Whatsapp recently come into the news? What is GDPR? What is the privacy standard followed in India? How are organizations adapting to an increased cybersecurity risk? What is the TCS share price? Give me one example where you failed in your job. How did it happen? What actions did you take? What is your brand?  What are your weaknesses? Do you have any questions for us? (Most of the questions were centered around cybersecurity because the candidate was working in a similar role earlier.)

Candidate Profile: Bachelors in Computer Engineering, work experience:- 2 years

Questions: How has the pandemic changed lives? What are your views on work-from-home? What has your company done to make WFH easier? Any special security concerns considering you work with a Bank? What is your company policy to help people with disabilities handle their work? Explain some of the perks/tools that are given to help them be more productive. What are the appraisal and rating policies in HSBC like? What do you think needs to change in them? How should the policy be flexible to make sure they don't bias against anyone. You have such a great job, then why MBA?

Candidate Profile: Bachelors in Computer Engineering, work experience:- 2 years

Questions:  Tell us your views on LGBT rights. What can student organizations within the campus of institutes do to increase male participation in these LGBT inclusion initiatives? Your take on why people from family business should join the MBA program?  How important are ethics? Different kinds of ethics? What are functional/analytical ethics?  How ethics apply to your role in the bank? Is HSBC ethical?  How can companies that collect a lot of data make sure they are being ethical in doing so, over and above the legal standpoint? You have such a great job, then why MBA?

Candidate’s Profile: B.Tech

Questions: Explain the meaning of your name? Introduce yourself? Name some veteran cricket captains. (The candidate had mentioned playing cricket as a captain). Tell me about 5 key points on how u will evaluate a captain. Take 2 captains and start comparing them on these 5 points, evaluate them on the scale of 1-10 with 1 being worst and 10 as excellent. What was the reason behind giving each captain this number of marks?  So can we make Dhoni a non-playing captain of India? What should be the steps taken by the Indian government to reduce the spread of Covid 19? Tell me about the negative impact on an organization of having a star player in the team. Then they told me to log off.
