SAP - Supplementary Admission Process (2021-22)

SAP (Supplementary Admission Process) is conducted jointly by IIM Jammu and IIM Bodhgaya. IIM Sirmaur facilitates SAP separately for female candidates only. All three IIMsoffer a two-year full-time general MBA program. Further, IIM Jammu also extends MBA in Hospital Administration & Health Care Management, and IIM Sirmaur provides MBA in Tourism & Hospitality Management. The final admission list is prepared as per the candidates’ CAT score, work experience, academic profile, academic diversity, and interview performance.

Interview Experiences
A group of two panellists evaluated thecandidates' knowledge regarding their graduation subjects, current affairs, and career goals. On an average, each interview lasted for 10-20 minutes. Here is an overview of the interview experiences of candidates at IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Jammu, and IIM Sirmaur:
Interview 1:
Background:Biotechnology, Fresher
Questions:
  • You have an interesting degree. How is your degree different from the core biology degree? What is the use of technology in biotechnology?What is the scope of biotechnology in India?
  • Why MBA and not M.Sc?
  • Are you aware of the recent budget?
  • Can you name five Bio-Tech institutions of India?
  • Which subjects did you study in graduation?
  • What is DNA?
  • What is the full form of UNESCO? And SAARC?
  • Do you know of the latest trade agreements between India and other countries?
  • How many districts are there in Assam?
