Most top-ranked business schools require applicants to have passed the Common Admissions Test (CAT) with an
excellent score. However, there are other screening processes for you to go through in order to get final
admission. You must prepare for the next round of combat if you expect to hear from the eminent Indian Institute
of Management (IIM), Shillong. It is no easy feat to compete with handpicked applicants from a wide variety of
backgrounds and experiences, especially when you are practically on par with them in terms of intellect.
The prime focus of the PGDM/ MBA program's selection procedure is to analyse the applicant's educational
and professional experiences and if they would be a good fit for the institute’s curricula. The ability of
the individual to perform in their future career is speculated by the B-schools’ selection committee.

topics assigned to students in the last few years of admissions:
- Case centred on a moral conundrum of whether or not one should provide a friend with the advantage of the
programme one uses for work.
- When an emergency delivery was needed over the weekend, the Production Team turned to the Finance Team for
help. They didn't consult them before seizing these tools. Due to exhaustion, they neglected to
reinstall these systems, which meant that the Finance Group wouldn't be able to function the next day.
What are your next steps as a peacemaker?
