This time, the selection process (CAP) for new IIMs comprised of Personal Interview only, which was conducted online. The essay writing stage was removed due to covid situation.

Questions: How are you? Have you completed your graduation? What did you do after that? What online courses? (Digital Marketing and some more) Why not go for a job? So what did you study in Digital marketing? Do you know SEO? You've done B. Com so do you know what is balance sheet? What profits are there in B/S? (Told it is calculated in income statement) Okay, what types of profits are there in income statement? What is cash flow statement? What is Asset turnover ratio? Suppose I am not a person of finance then explain it to me. Do you read news? What have you read in the past 1 week? Tell any business-related news that you have read. Any other? (Candidate talks about budget). We see how much our income is then to expenditure, that's what the govt also does? Then how does government manage? What part of govt income is borrowings? Are you sure?

Questions: Tell us about yourself? Can you tell how does a drug work? How are new drugs discovered? How do we know this molecule will work for this disease? What is this efficacy that we are hearing about for vaccines? 80% or 90% efficacy, what is this? How do you measure efficacy? There is a new cricket stadium opened in Gujarat, what is its capacity?
