Technical interview:
  • The first interview is conducted by a panel of experts and it consists of questions based on puzzles, guesstimates, and some basic technical questions regarding C/C++ concepts.
  • Two candles and a match box is given, each burning for 1 hour, how to measure 30 minutes.
  • Nine balls are given. All are equally weighed except one that was less weighed. How would we identify the less weighed in two chances? Etc.
  • Guesstimates the following -:
  • Count the total number of signals in your city
  • What is the total alcohol consumption in your hometown
HR Interview:
  • How was the previous interviews?
  • What is one of your weaknesses which you’d like to improve upon
  • Would you like to change your domain, if yes why?
  • Tell me an experience wherein you were asked to do something which wasn’t as per your liking. How did you handle it?
  • What are you expecting from the company?
  • Are you comfortable shifting base?

Technical interview:
  • Write the connection code to database?
  • Write a code to input data to your code?
  • Why do we use inner join and outer join?
  • Do you have any questions for us?
  • Puzzle: There is a building of 100 floors If an egg drops from the Nth floor or above it will break. If it’s dropped from any floor below, it will not break. You’re given 2 eggs. Find N, while minimizing the number of drops for the worst case
  • On a circle there are 2014 light bulbs, 2 are ON, and 2012 are OFF. You can choose any bulb and change the neighbor’s state from ON to OFF or from OFF to ON. Doing so, can we get all 2014 light bulbs on? If yes, How?
  • Guesstimates the following:
  • Estimate the amount of tea consumed in your city in a day
  • Estimate the total amount of petrol right now in your college campus.
HR Interview:
  • Tell me something about yourself.
  • What all programming languages do you know?
  • Why should we select you
